Supported by London Youth
A one-night event celebrating young people today
With support from the London Youth social-action programme City Leaders, YOUTH CLUB has brought in a group of 5 young people between 16-20 years old to help steer the direction of YOUTH CLUB Archive and the Museum of Youth Culture and help us champion young people today through organising project and events.
After a zine-making workshop exploring some of the issues facing young people today, the group felt that they wanted to champion the amazing things young people do and moving away from the negative perceptions. It is out of these discussions our youth ambassadors came up with and organised YOUTH FORUM.
Doing a call-out for young creatives in London, the youth panel curated a pop-up exhibition featuring over 20 artists in the Old Biscuit Factory. Taking the exhibition from planning stages to execution, they celebrated the brilliant creativity of their peers. The one night event brought together artists with young activists, including Extinction Rebellion and Instagram News, in celebration.
